The Voyager is waterproof with a rubber gasketed seal and a flexible rubber antenna. It features N.O.A.A. weather channels with S.A.M.E. weather alert. The S.A.M.E. Weather Alert (Specific Area Message Encoding) will alert you to severe conditions in your immediate area during a NOAA or Emergency Alert. The Triple Watch Plus feature allows you to monitor emergency channels 9 and 16 and a weather channel of your choice. The Keypad and display are backlit and it's powered by a Lithium-Ion battery. It ships with an AC/DC adapter and charging cradle. The Voyager will also accept an optional speaker/microphone.
