Standard Horizon PS1000 Blackbox VHF Radio

Description   The Phantom series of VHF radios from Standard Horizon is perfect for vessels with limited mounting space or for the skipper looking for a very clean, uncluttered helm. The bulk of this VHF is enclosed in a black box you can hide away anywhere on board. Control of the VHF is achieved with the included Standard Horizon RAM+ mic that controls all radio functions, including turning the radio on and off, and the DSC function. You can mount the RAM+ mic anywhere – your NAV station, cockpit, tower, or lower helm station. The PS1000 is single station capable with the included RAM+ mic. The PS1000 includes Standard Horizon's DSC polling feature, which allows contact with another DSC radio equipped vessel and will display the other vessel's position on the RAM+ mic display. If connected to a Standard Horizon chartplotter, the other vessel's position will appear on the chart page. Other great features include die-cast chassis for durability and improvement of receiver performance, user-changeable channel names, optional voice scrambler, ClearVoice Noise Canceling speaker microphone, 5W audio output, NOAA Weather Alert, programmable, selectable priority scan, and dual watch.
